Editorial: Inhibitors of the Renin–Angiotensin–Aldosterone System and Covid-19 John A. Jarcho et al. "Professional scientific societies and experts have spoken with one voice in advising that patients should not discontinue ACE inhibitor or ARB therapy out of a concern that they are at increased risk for infection, severe illness, or death during the Covid-19 pandemic.16-18 The data from these three studies support those recommendations. Ultimately, one or more randomized trials will be needed to answer definitively the question of whether ACE inhibitors or ARBs pose a harm to patients with Covid-19."https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMe2012924 Renin–Angiotensin–Aldosterone System Inhibitors and Risk of Covid-19 Giuseppe Mancia, M.D. et. al. "We found no substantial increase in the likelihood of a positive test for Covid-19 or in the risk of severe Covid-19 among patients who tested positive in association with five common classes of antihypertensive medications." https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2008975 Renin–Angiotensin–Aldosterone System Blockers and the Risk of Covid-19 Harmony R. Reynolds et al. "In this large, population-based study, the use of ACE inhibitors and ARBs was more frequent among patients with Covid-19 than among controls because of their higher prevalence of cardiovascular disease. However, there was no evidence that ACE inhibitors or ARBs affected the risk of COVID-19." https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2006923 Cardiovascular Disease, Drug Therapy, and Mortality in Covid-19 Mandeep R. Mehra et al. " Our results did not confirm previous concerns regarding a potential harmful association of ACE inhibitors or ARBs with in-hospital death in this clinical context." https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2007621 Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar
Nana Geschrieben 2. Mai 2020 Share Geschrieben 2. Mai 2020 Oder auch ganz einfach gesagt: Zitat Jetzt geben gleich drei Studien im renommierten "New England Journal of Medicine" Entwarnung.
